Grendene integra projeto que desenvolverá protótipo de respirador pulmonar


A Grendene (Farroupilha/RS), uma das principais fabricantes nacionais de calçados, está apoiando o Parque Cientíco e Tecnológico da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (Tecnopuc) em iniciativas que auxiliem no combate ao novo coronavírus (Covid-19). A companhia rmou convênio com a universidade para apoiar projeto de desenvolvimento do protótipo de ventiladores, modelo replicável de respirador pulmonar, a partir dos modelos desenvolvidos pelas instituições norte-americanas Rice University e Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). 

A gigante calçadista disponibilizará ao Tecnopuc, em Porto Alegre/RS, equipamentos de injeção de plástico – peça fundamental no desenvolvimento das peças utilizadas nos ventiladores.
